Antah: (Live Now)
There are landscapes we see, and there are landscapes that slowly begin to reveal a place within, from which we see. Antah: belongs to the latter.
Derived from the Sanskrit word for ‘inward’, Antah: looks at that threshold where the outer world becomes interior experience, where presence gathers, consciousness awakens, and the self quietly takes form.
These paintings do not describe landscapes. They inhabit them. Atmosphere circulates and condenses into form. Light brings structure. Colour bleeds, and silence becomes as tangible as paint. The colour then gathers just enough to become presence before dissolving once again into air. Nothing is fixed, yet nothing disappears. Every work occupies the delicate territory between emergence and dissolution.
